As if the internet wasn't already speculating wildly, I'm sure it really has started blowing up now. I had seen on Twitter that people had already begun reading too far into a count down that the Pokémon Twitter account had been doing all week. Each day there would be a number and the starters from each generation starting with generation 8 and working backward. Once it hit generation 4, and used the words "Let's Go, Sinnoh!" in the post, people began getting all worried about a Let's Go generation 4 remake. A pretty big assumption given they made a post earlier in the week using generation 8 pokémon. I doubt gen 8 is getting remade.
Personally, I am hoping for generation 4 remakes. I would prefer it use a similar style akin to Pokémon Sword and Shield. However, that may be in part because I would like to see something in the style of generation 8 with the better environment and story of generation 4. I personally really enjoyed generation 4. Then again, I also enjoyed Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire as remakes and I don't think I am in the majority. I also didn't hate Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee. I disliked that motion controls were required, but I didn't mind as much when using the Pokéball Plus. Again, I don't think I am in the majority.
Outside of any new announcements, I also expect to see more of "New Pokémon Snap." That game is already super popular and looks gorgeous.
Fantasy monster or apex predator? One of the biggest arguments I see relating to inorganic pokémon is the general consensus that pokémon that look like inorganic objects are not feasible. However, I wish to present a rather scientific argument as to why these pokémon whose adaptations are inspired by man-made objects make perfect sense. Since the beginning of the franchise, evolution has been an important mechanic. As I explained in a previous blog , pokémon evolution isn't actually true evolution. Instead, it is a metamorphosis, with juvenile organisms eventually maturing into adults. Not every animal goes through metamorphosis, which explains why some pokémon never "evolve" in the game. That doesn't mean that natural selection, the driving force behind real world evolution, doesn't occur. Natural selection occurs when an organism is born with a random characteristic that makes it better suited to the environment, which leads to them being able to breed
Yesterday's "Pokémon Presents" dropped a lot of news on us, but then again the drought of news has been a long one. Any news would have seemed like a lot. Before going into the stream I had hoped we would see the new gimmick and some new regional forms, which we got both. I also assumed we would get the region name, which we did along with a map. Starting in November we will be able to explore the open world region of Paldea. I wonder what the deal is with the big crater in the center? Not much was shown in the way of specific areas within Paldea, but how it will be navigated was. As many suspected, the legendaries are motorcycles. Well, kind of. Miraidon clearly is. Koraidon just sort of runs around everywhere on all fours. Regardless these two function like the bicycle in Sword and Shield as well as having a gliding and mountain climbing mode. Early on in the video eagle eyed viewers caught glimpses of returning pokémon like Deerling and Sawsbuck, which are currently un
Morning everyone! I've been working on making some comics and other digital art for my Instagram . I plan on doing other stuff besides pokémon, but right now it's mostly pokémon. Be sure to check it out! Here's an uncolored version of my latest comic! I hope you get a laugh out of this the same way I did when I made it!
